What made you decide to enter into this profession?
“I decided to enter into this profession because I like waking up to a job that keeps me on my toes and being faced with new challenges. I enjoy meeting new people and learning about their stories.”
What part of being a counselor do you most enjoy?
“The part that I enjoy most about being a counselor is watching people grow. I enjoy instilling confidence into others, providing resources, and recognizing other people’s strengths as they are capable of achieving their goals.”
Why do you like working with Cornerstone Mobile Counseling?
“I like working with Cornerstone because of how accessible it is to meet clients and other professionals across all counties.”
What is the biggest difference between working with Cornerstone versus your previous employment?
“The biggest difference between working with Cornerstone versus my previous employment is the ability to be flexible with my own schedule to meet my clients based on their availability. Making time to spend with my family is one of my top priorities. I like how I am able to change my schedule to adapt to my needs and still be available to my client’s needs.”
What are some reasons why you enjoy going to clients’ homes/public places and offering your services in those types of environments?
“I enjoy meeting clients at their home or in public places because of how convenient therapy can be for someone and how it can be easily built into someone’s daily life. I like being able to visit client’s homes as that is their safe and comfortable place. I want my clients to feel comfortable while being in therapy versus an office space that can feel intimidating at times.”
What is something you personally do to take care of your own mental health?
“To take care of my own mental health; I like taking my dogs for walks, spending time with my family, and any outdoor activities.”
If you could visit anywhere in the world, where would you go?
“Greece! I would love to explore tourist attractions, learn about their history and philosophies while enjoying their beautiful beaches. I am also a nerd for the classic Greek Mythology culture.”

“My Momma’s pasta salad!”

Would you rather explore space or the bottom of the ocean?
“Space! There is something utterly amazing about how light and science can make giant space rocks look beautiful in the night sky. I also need to know if there are other planets and people like us out there!”
